The cool evening monsoon winds blowing with full force, a cloudy blue sky and here we have the Hercules AV 101. The bike coming from the stable of the better part of the TI Cycles of India i.e. Hercules. The bike is clearly a very clear indication that since the arrival of the foreign brands like Firefox and Trek the Indian companies have finally awaken and produced a fine bike which is a clearly a great road comfort ride bike but as its name says it doesn't live up to the expectation of a Mountain bike. The bike is a great achievement for an Indian brand but to compete with the likes of international standards its got to work very hard.
The bike comprises of very good components like (1)a RST Gila 100 mm fork, (2)Shimano 21 speed Rapid-shifters, (4)Front Shimano SIS Derailluer and the (3)rear Shimano Tourney, (4)crank set from Prowheel, (7 & 8)Quando wheels accompanied by Kenda tyres .The wheels are incapable to withstand the pressure during tricks. We learnt it after the rear rim just bend after a small jump. The wheels are incapable to withstand the pressure during tricks. We learnt it after the rear rim just bend after a small jump. (6)The Aluminum TIG Welded Alloy Frame is the main feature of this bike and is the best thing we liked about it as it give a very smooth comfortable ride. The final main part which gives us all the most safety and which also adds to its naughtiness are (5)the front disk brakes from Assess and (7)rear rubber V-Brakes.

+ UP POWERS
1. Great comfort
2. Smooth ride
3. Great handling
- DOWN PULLERS
1. The bike is not able to cope up with the mountain.
2.The gear shifting system could be better as takes too much time to change from the 3rd to the 2nd or from the 2nd to the 1st in the front.
3. The tyres lack grip on rubble gravel and dirt.
4. The wheels are incapable to withstand the pressure during tricks.
FINAL SAY: -
We come finally to a judgement for it to say that the bike is very good for city usage and cross country racing but won't cope up to the mountains.
